Paper, Data Carriers and Small Hardware
Files, ring binders, personnel folders, deeds, declarations, correspondence. Staples, paperclips and plastic sleeves can stay in.
Hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks, SD cards, mobile phones, tablets, backup tapes, CDs and DVDs.
Laptops, desktops, servers, printers, copiers, monitors. Remove batteries beforehand.
Rejected clothing, prototypes, display material, counterfeits. Call first for products heavier than 200 kg.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to make an appointment?
No. Walk in during opening hours: Monday to Friday 07:00–16:00. For quantities above 200 kg we prefer a heads-up call so we can make sure there is room.
How long do I have to wait?
Up to 10 moving boxes of paper we are done in 15 minutes. For more or for hardware it can take 30–60 minutes. Coffee and wifi are at the ready.
Do I need to remove staples, paperclips or folders?
No. Our industrial shredder handles staples, paperclips, ring binders and plastic sleeves. Binders with metal mechanisms can also go in.
Can I see that it was really destroyed?
Yes. You stand next to the shredder and can throw it in yourself. For data carriers you fill in the serial-number list together with us.
Do I get a certificate on the spot?
Yes. You get a paper certificate to take with you, a digital copy we email within 15 minutes after you leave. On the certificate: date, weight, type of material, location and unique job number.
What if I am heavier than 200 kg?
Then we work per kilo above 200 kg: € 0.20 for clean paper, € 0.32 for dirty paper. Above 400 kg our pickup service is often cheaper due to transport.
What happens to the material after destruction?
Paper goes to a certified recycling company. Metal and plastic from data carriers are separated and disposed of via a Weeelabex-certified e-waste processor.
